Jeremy Butteriss founded Northwinds in 2024.
Twenty-five years operating across fintech, ad tech, and digital media — most of it at Google, Stripe, and Xero, leading partnerships, product, and go-to-market teams across multiple continents.
At Xero, Jeremy was EVP of Ecosystem & Partnerships, running global teams responsible for embedded product strategy and execution, and a B2B App Store with more than 1,100 integrations.
At Stripe, he led Business Product & Platform Partnerships through the launch of Stripe Apps, Stripe Tax, and Stripe Billing, and the expansion of strategic relationships including Shopify and Instacart.
Before that, he spent nearly a decade at Google — most notably running the DoubleClick business across Asia-Pacific, where revenue grew from $400M to $1.2B over three years, and leading a multi-billion-dollar partnership with Yahoo Japan.
He began his career at Boston Consulting Group, followed by founding and operating roles at two e-commerce startups in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
Jeremy holds an MBA from The Wharton School, where he was named a Palmer Scholar (top 5% of class), and a B.Comm with First Class Honours from Queen's University. He lives in Toronto.
